Activating your HOBO MX-100 Temp Monitor

This article describes how to activate your HOBO MX-100 temperature monitor.

Prerequisites:

Make sure you have installed the Cascade-500W gateway and configured your IoT Central Application.

Activating the Device

To activate the device, first make sure it is nearby (within 50 feet) of the Cascade-500W. Press the button on the HOBO temp device to initiate the pairing process. You will notice the two LEDs briefly flash.

After a few seconds, the device will appear in your IoT Central application device list. Now, you can setup a visual dashboard and create alerts with the MX-100 temp monitor.
