This article describes how to activate your Minew S1 Temperature and Humidity sensor.

Prerequisites:

• Make sure you have installed the Cascade 500W gateway for either the Azure Swift Kit or AWS Allegro Kit.

Activating the S1

The back of the S1 contains a small button. To activate the battery on the S1, simply press and hold the button a few seconds.  You should notice the blue LED on the front flash.

Once active, the S1 will automatically connect to the Cascade-500W and begin sending temperature and humidity data. Now, you can setup a visual dashboard and create alerts with the S1.
