Building an Analytics Report with the HOBO MX-100 Temperature Monitor

This article describes how to build a time-series report using IoT Central Analytics and the HOBO MX-100 Temperature Monitor.

Prerequisites:

You have installed the Cascade-500W gateway and configured your IoT Central Application.
You have activated the HOBO MX-100 temperature monitor.
You have verified the HOBO MX-100 is online and sending data.

Create an Analytics Report

From your IoT Central application, select Analytics from the left menu. This will bring up a menu similar to creating dashboard tiles, where you can select device templated and telemetry.

In this example, simply choose the "Hobo MX-100" device group and the "temperature" options from the drop downs. Click "Analyze" to build the chart:
